Awarded by the Caribbean Realms (St Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Bahamas, Grenada, Jamaica, Barbados, St Kitts and Nevis and Belize) Belize, St Kitts and Nevis and Barbados chose not to award any.

Approximately 3,500 medals were issued, the majority to Jamaica and approximately 11 to UK citizens.

The majority of the medals were manufactured by Worcestershire Medal Service Ltd with 50 being made by Eng Leong for Grenada. The Eng leong version has a slightly different ribbon than that finally approved which is virtually identical to the UK version but with a central black stripe.
