Archibald John McArthur was born in Leith, Scotland in 1877 - he served with "C" Division of the Metropolitan Special Constabulary with Warrant No. 0047788 and was awarded two Long Service clasps - for the Great War 1914-18 and for 1929.
The 1939 Register has him living in Paddington as a Master Military and Surgical Boot Maker and a former Sergeant. He died in 1959.
