The Sutlej Medal was the first to be issued with clasps, but still incorporated the earlier style of producing medals with the name of the action on the reverse. consequently the medal was issued with the name of the first action for which it was granted and subsequent actions are represented by a clasp or clasps.

This version is awarded for Moodkee, only with this reverse was it possible to have three clasps.
