Father: Frank Odds was born in Frinsbury, Kent on 6 April 1870 (some records suggest 1873). He joined the Royal Navy on 16 July 1889 and served aboard various vessels and was present during the Messina Earthquake disaster of 1908 (medal). He earned his LSGCM aboard HMS Rosario and was transferred to the Royal Fleet Reserve on 22 July 1911. He died soon after in 1913.

Son: Frederick Frank Odds was born in Rochester, Kent in 1897. He joined the RN on 14 July 1915 and served during WWI aboard various vessels. He was commissioned Lieutenant Engineer in 1926. He served throughout WWII and was placed on the retired list on 14 July 1947. His address was 9 Barton Crescent, Paignton, Devon. He died in Torbay, Devon on 21 November 1981.
