Herbert Harry Annand was born in Willisden Green, London in 1898. He served with both the 2/20 & 17 London Regiments and, having been commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in August 1917, was posted to France on 16.9.1917. 

According to the 1939 Register he was an Insurance Clerk (he worked for the Prudential Insurance Company) living at 10 Piled Heath Avenue, Uxbridge 

He served in North Africa in WWII as a Paymaster with the Royal Army Pay Corps and was discharged on 19 August 1945. His WWII medals were posted to him on 17 June 1948 to Whitewell, Pield Heath Avenue, Hillingdon, Middlesex with the Defence Medal issued supplementarily on 25 August 1948.

He died in Hillingdon on 15 December 1974.

Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold together with copied research.
