Robert Gray first served with the Northumberland Fusiliers at their Depot from 1 September 1928. With the outbreak of WWII he was already with the Army Physical Training Corps, having been awarded the LSGCM to this corps in 1943. He was a WO Class II at wars end and his medals were posted to him c/o Gordon Boys School, West End, Woking, Surrey on 10 June 1955.
