Harry Newcombe was born in Leeds in 1921 and served as a Driver with the 43rd Division Signals Royal Corps Signals. He was Wounded in North West Europe on 24/6/1944. He had married Margaret Calvert in 1943 and, at the time of the 1939 Register, she was living with her family at 20 Cliff Road, Leeds.

He was awarded the Efficiency Medal in 1946. His medals were posted to him on 6 September 1949 to 17 Cliff Place, Leeds, Yorkshire.

Newcombe passed away in Leeds at the age of 89 on 11 January 2010.

Sold with some research. Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated.
