QSA no clasp (E.W.MATTHEWS. C.G.R.)
E.W.MATTHEWS. C.G.R. Was a Guard in charge of trains in the Orange Free State during the war. Most likely after the fall of Bloemfontein in March 1900 when members of the Cape Government Railways were required to assist the war effort in that territory.
