The General Service Medal 1962 -2007, also referred to as The Campaign Service Medal, this replaced the GSM (Army & RAF) and the Navy GSM in 1964 and was backdated to December 1962 to cover the Borneo campaign.

The Radfan clasp was authorised by Army Order 37 of 1965 and was awarded for 14 days continuous service between 25th April and 31st July 1964
