Edward Cook was born in Halam, Notts in 1866. He enlisted with the Royal Field Artillery in December 1886 and served in India before being sent out to South Africa for service in the Boer War with the 17th Bty RFA. He was recalled to the Colours in 1914 and saw service in France from 4 October 1914 until 13 June 1917. He was transferred to the Labour Corps on 19 April 1918 and released to the Reserve on account of ill health (Myalgia) in 1919.

Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research.
