11877 PTE.H.FELL W.RID.R. Herbert Fell served with 8th Bn. West Riding Regt. in the Balkans/Gallipoli, disembarking there on 12.7.1915. He was Wounded in Action on 27.9.1915. He also served with the West Yorkshire Regt. with number 27615 and was discharged to the Reserve on 26.4.1919.
His British War Medal was returned for incorrect engraving in November 1920 and re-issued on 14.10.1921. His address was 4 Lilac Street, Bowling, Bradford, Yorkshire.
