The CS20's completed iro Dye indicate that his medals were posted to him in 1949/50 to 74 Adeline Street, Goole, Yorkshire. The Pacific Star was awarded in 1950. The Electoral List for1950 confirms this to be the address for Dye and his wife Eileen whom he married in 1947. 74 Adeline Street in the 1939 Register was the address of Dye's father-in-law, James Hewson.
