Son: Harry Johnston born Edinburgh 4.8.1920. Served with Royal Armoured Corps and was with Recce Corps when taken POW during the fall of France between late May and mid-June 1940. Held at Stalag IXC (Bad Sulza) and Stalag 9C (Mulhausen). Released in 1945. Was awarded the Efficiency Medal to the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry 31.3.1946
