Norman Arthur Gant, Royal Australian Engineers was born in Lithgow, New South Wales, Australia in 1922. He served with the 41 Australian Water Transport Operating Company in New Guinea from 27 December 1941 until 5 February 1944 and in South West Pacific Area from 16 March 1945 until 10 January 1946. He sustained a Gun Shot Wound to the Right Thigh on 25 May 1943 and was promoted Corporal in the same year. 

He died on 10 May 1973 at the age of 51. 

Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with comprehensive Australian Military Service papers.
