Donald Sutherland was born in Helmsdale in 1920 and enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve on 17.12.1938. He served out of Lowestoft in converted trawlers in WWII and was awarded the much coveted Anti Sub/Minesweeping Silver Badge for his efforts.
He was released from service on 4.1.1946 and awarded the LSGCM in the same year.
The medals are in good condition unless otherwise stipulated. Sold with some research.
