According to the 1939 Register he was a Boarder at 44 Clarence Road, Derby. (The medals were sent to 43 Clarence Road, Derby) and was employed as a Sorting Clerk (Post Office) and Telegraphist. He passed away in Littleover Nursing Home, Derby on 3.4.1990.
