J Cadman is a bit of a mystery man. He enlisted with the Royal Engineers as a Sapper on 30.4.1929 and served with 601 Railway Construction Company in WWII in Africa and later in France & Germany.

He was reported Missing, possibly POW in France on 11.9.1940 but his record was altered to reflect that he had been found as a Deserter. His record card indicates that he was Non-Effective by 4.11.1941 (the day he was discharged)

His Efficiency Medal was awarded in 1942.

Medals all in good, original condition unless otherwise specified.
