FRANK WINDLEY) - in box of issue labelled West Sussex, Stn, Offr. FRANK WINDLEY - accompanied by a number of Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffalos medals.

Frank Windley was born in Grimsby., Lincs in 1921. He moved to West Sussex where he served with the Royal Sussex Regiment in North Africa in WWII. He was awarded the Efficiency Medal in 1946. 

A Station Officer at the Partridge Green Fire Station, Windley was a very devoted and active member of the RAOB, garnering a number of medals from that body. He died in Crawley, West Sussex in 1979

Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research.
