Lilian Rose Brackley (born Hunter) was born in West Ham, Essex in 1911. She was a First Aid Worker & ARP in WWII and was awarded the British Empire Medal in the London Gazette of 31 December 1983 for her work as Centre Orgainser of the Wimborne Branch of the British Red Cross Society.
According to the 1939 Register she was a Dressmaker for a Retail Firm and an ARP with the West Ham First Aid Post. living at 69 Humberstone Road, Upton Park, Newham, West Ham.
