40100/H A/Surg. Dr. J P S Whitehead.1978. Dr. Whitehead, born in Halifax on 10.4.1918, was a Pathologist working at a variety of hospitals in Cambridgeshire and Yorkshire. He appears in many press reports iro Coroner verdicts and was involved in a car accident in May 1952 when he received 16 stitches (Cambridgeshire & Suffolk Free Advertiser 12.5.1952)
According to the 1939 Register he was a Medical Student living at 39 Owlstone Road, Cambridge.
