Cadets Forces Medal (CAPT.W.B.DALE.)
William Bernard Dale was born in Wolverhampton on 29.4.1904. He moved to Devon where he was an Elementary School Teacher, Living Bakery, Taylor's St. Thomas Devon. (1939 Register).
According to the Territorial Army General List - Section B - Army Cadet Forces, he was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain on 1.1.1952 - having been an Acting Captain in the Devon school system since 11.6.1949.
He passed away in Mid-Devon in July 1994.
