Imperial Service Medal (WILLIAM ROBERT FATHARLY)
William Robert Fatharly, the Assistant Superintendent of the London Postal Region, was born in Lambeth, London in 1885.
He served as a Corporal in the Postal Section of the Royal Engineers in WWI with no. 27903 and was awarded the 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal (which are not with this lot)
According to the 1939 Register he was living at 118 Stroud Green Road, Hornsey, London and was a Civil Servant with the G.P.O.
He was awarded the ISM 12 April 1946
He died in London in 1959
