Ronald Alexander Fowers was born in Lambeth London in 1918. He attested for the 226/57 Field Regiment Royal Artillery and saw service with them in Africa and Italy. He claimed for his medals in January 1949 and joined the Police with whom he earned the Exemplary Conduct medal in 1970 whilst stationed at Doncaster in South Yorkshire.
He died in Doncaster in December 2002
