Gould served in both the Royal Air Force (in operations in Iraq and Northern Ireland), and the Royal Logistical Corps (in Iraq)

The General Service Medal (GSM) with Northern Ireland Clasp is a military medal awarded to personnel who served in Northern Ireland during "The Troubles". To qualify one needed to have served a minimum of 30 days between August 14, 1969 and July 31, 2007.

The Air Operations Iraq Clasp was awarded for 60 days continuous, 90 days aggregate service or 6 operational sorties between 16th July 1991 and 30th April 2003.

The Iraq Medal was authorised on 23 February 2004. It was a campaign medal issued to members of the British Armed Forces and certain attached personnel, who served between 20 January 2003 and 22 May 2011 on, or in support of, Operation Telic - the designation for British operations during the 2003 Invasion of Iraq and its aftermath.

The medals are in good condition unless otherwise specified.
