Stanley Lamport was born in Newhaven, Sussex on 16 February 1904. A Shunter, he attested for service with the Royal Artillery at Chichester on 12 January 1922 and served with the 4th Light Battery on the North West Frontier in 1930/31. He was with the 34th Light Anti Aircraft Training Regiment in WWII and embarked for the Middle East on 26 May 1942 - having transferred to the 79th Light AA Regiment two weeks before.

He was awarded the LSGCM in 1940. 

Lamport passed away in Carlisle, Cumberland in January 1987.

Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research.
