William/Malcolm Marshall was born in Parkhead, Glasgow in 1892. He saw service in WWI from 11 December 1916 with the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders and was reported Wounded in Action (GSW Right Index Finger) on 3 October 1917. He later transferred to the Army Veterinary Corps on 16 May 1918 and was discharged on 2 December 1918. His address in 1920 was 9 Winston Street, Parkhead, Glasgow.
At some point Marshall joined the Police Force and was awarded the LSGC medal with them in the name of Malcolm Marshall.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. Please note discrepancy on initials on medals - the WWI records show him to be William Marshall whereas the Police Medal has him as Malcolm Marshall.
