William Frederick Cooper was born in Birmingham in 1894. He served with the 9th Rifle Brigade and was posted to France on 21.5.1915. He was Killed in Action at Ypres in Flanders on 9.8.1915
His next of kin was his mother, Mrs Frances Julia Cooper of 5/15 New Spring Street, Brookfields, Birmingham
