Thomas William Sills was born in Watford, Hertfordshire in 1892. He served with D Coy of the 1st Bedfordshire Regiment and was posted to France on 27.4.1915. On 6 April 1916 he was admitted to hospital with Bronchial Catarhh and discharged to his unit two days alter, on 8 April 1916. just over two months later, on 28 July 1916, he was dead - Died from Wounds received in the fighting at Longueval on the Somme.
He is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.
