Husband: War Medal 1939-45; Queens Korea Medal (1441438 CPL A. HAY REME); United Nations Korea Medal - unnamed as awarded
Wife: Imperial Service Medal EIIR (MRS MARGARET MORE HARDIE HAY) - all in an attractive wooden and glass frame with R.E.M.E. cap badges (1st & 2nd type), a small photo of Cpl Hay with a summary of his service, together with a copy of the ISM award slip dated 8 March 1988. Margaret worked in Her Majesty's Stationery Office as a Reprographics Officer I. Her ISM was gazetted on 8 March 1988.
Husband: Cpl Hay enlisted at Edinburgh on 18 August 1944 and was transferred to the 227 Training Regiment, Royal Artillery in November of that year. He served in India from 1.9.1945 to 17.11.1947 - earning the War Medal. He embarked for Hong Kong as a Bombardier on 10.8.1949 transferring to the R.E.M.E. on 1.10 1951 as a Corporal and was, on 5.11.1951 posted to Korea where he served until 30.7.1952. He then returned to the UK and was discharged on 17.8.1956 on the termination of his engagement.
Wife: Margaret More Hardie married Hay and was employed in H.M. Stationery Office.
