Father: British War Medal (CAPT. D.D. LOW.); Special Constabulary Long Service Medal (DAVID D. LOW) - also entitled to a Victory Medal which is not with the group

Son: Burma Star; Defence Medal; War Medal 1939-45; Territorial Decoration reverse dated 1967 in original case of issue. The WWII medals, with award slip, in original box of issue addressed to Lt. D.L. Low, 5 Havelock House, Lucknow Road, Mapperley Park, Nottingham.

Sister/Aunt: Defence Medal with award slip in original box of issue to Miss M.M. Low, 25 Park Gate, Roker, Sunderland.

Father: David Dewar Low born Hexham, Northumberland on 12 December 1895 Served in WWI as a Lt, later Captain Border Regiment and the 31st Punjabis. According to the 1939 Register, a manager of a Pharmacy living at "Redruth", York Road, Camberley. Also an ARP Warden. Died Aylesbury, Bucks on 24 April 1957 

Sister/Aunt: Mary Margaret Low born Hexham, Northumberland on 6 February 1892 According to the 1939 Register she was living at the address on the box her medal was sent - 25 Park Gate, Roker, Sunderland - and was a Teacher of Domestic Subjects and an ARP Warden. She died in Northumberland in July 1985.

Son: David Lucas Low born 10 March 1925. Attested for service with the RA in 1943 with no. 334326, was commissioned in that year and sent to Burma. A member of the Burma Star Association (he joined in 1898) he confirmed that he was with the 4th Indian Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (5th Division and the 6th (Jacobs) Mountain Battery, R.A. (17 Division). After the war he continued with the Territorials and was awarded the Territorial Decoration in 1967. His address when joining the Association was The Thatched House, 81 High Street, West Wratting, Canbridge. He died in Cambridge in September 2006
