Stanley Allman Hall was born in Leominster in 1891. He qualified as a Medical Doctor and was working at Middlesex Hospital before the outbreak of war. He was posted to France with the RAMC on 19.5.1915 but was invalided and sent home. Having recovered from his debility he joined the Egyptian Expeditionary Force, serving with them from January 1918 until May 1919. Post-war he was an avid St John Ambulance Volunteer, being recognised for his efforts with the award of Serving Brother status in the LG of 1946. 

According to the 1939 Register he was living at Boyes Croft in Dunmow, Essex where he was a Medical Practitioner and ARP Ambulance Driver. He was also a Special Constable.

Hall passed away on 24 Mar 1948 in Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland.

Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some copied research.
