Andrew Garside was born in West Hartlepool, Durham in 1962. An Assistant Supermarket Manager, he enlisted with the RAOC in 1989 and, after passing out, was part of the regimental band who toured parts of America and elsewhere. He served as a Medical orderly in the Gulf War of 1991.
He lived in Taunton Grove, West Hartlepool.
