George H Griffiths served with the 56th Field Coy Royal Engineers. He went to France on 30.5.1915 and was listed as Wounded on 5.4.1916. He was awarded the Military Medal on 16.7.1918. A fireman, he was awarded the National Fire Brigade Medal with twenty year clasp.
