Archibald George Cheeseman was born in Croydon, Surrey in 1872. He enlisted with the London Metropolitan Police in February 1902 and, having served for 25 years, resigned from the Force in 1927, aged 54.
According to the 1939 Register he was a Retired Police Sergeant living at 85 The Drive, Chigwell. He passed away in Epping in 1941
