St John Ambulance Service Medal; Civil Defence Long Service Medal - both unnamed as awarded and in their original box/case of issue, along with a memorandum from St John Ambulance confirming the award of the St John Ambulance Medal to N/M V. Wilson, Workshop Nursing Division, County of Nottinghamshire.
Mrs Vera Wilson was a very active member of St John Ambulance. She was rewarded for her many years of dedication with the Serving Sister in 1994. A part-time taxi driver, she claimed that the knowledge of First Aid she had gained had helped her in her line of work. Very communty spirited, she was also a founder member of the Trinity Methodist Church.
