Visit to Ireland Medal EVIIR (C. P. LARRISSY. R.I.C.); Police Coronation Medal 1911, GV, Royal Irish Constabulary reverse - unnamed as awarded.
Patrick Larrissy was born in Kilkenny in 1870. A Farmer by occupation, he enlisted with the Royal Irish Constabulary on 2 February 1891 and served in County Clare until retirement on 1 August 1920. Despite 29 years of service he never advanced beyond the rank of Constable - this being ascribed to a poor disciplinary record.
