Elsie May Manson was born Elsie May Newton in Hertford, Herefordshire on 5 October 1896. She married David Alexander Manson in Leeds on 30 May 1925 and, according to the 1939 Register, was a Nursing Auxiliary living at 12 Saville Park Gardens in Halifax.
She died in Birmingham, Warwickshire on 1 February 1985.
