Frank Arthur Frederick Poulden was born in Southsea, Hampshire in 1898. He was a student music teacher when he enlisted as a Gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery. He was commissioned in September 1917 and posted to France on 21.4.1918. Post-war he became a man of the cloth and an avid member of St John Ambulance being made an Officer Brother in the London Gazette of 8 January 1957 - Reverend Prebendary (Sub Chaplain) of St Paul's Cathedral in Ramsgate in later years.
According to the 1939 Register he was living at 58 Holmesdale Road, Twickenham and was a Clerk in Holy Orders.
He died in London in October 1980
