Cyril Lambert Badman was born in Islington, London in 1902. He enlisted just after WWI with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and was awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal with them in 1936 (re-issued 1947). He was a Conductor when WWII broke out and was granted an Emergency Commission in October 1941, as an OEO 3rd Class wef 31 March 1941.
According to the 1921 census he was with the RAOC at The Barracks in Cork, Ireland and was already married at the age of 19.
He died in Las Palmas, Canary Islands in 1978.
