Arthur William Daniels was born in Sittingbourne, Kent on 21 June 1918. He enlisted for service in WWII with the Army Catering Corps and was mustered as a Cook on 15 December 1941. He was Mentioned in Dispatches in the London Gazette of 23 May 1946.
