Alfred Montague Atton was born in Hartley Wintney, Hants in 1911. He attested for service with the Royal Navy in 1929 and served aboard HMS Fisgard. He was awarded the LSGCM in 1951.
He married in Farnborough in 1938 and passed away in Midsomer Norton in 1979
