Charles William Hinton was born in Soke-on-Trent, Staffordshire in 1920. He served with 42 Field Company, RE in WWII, seeing much service and action in North Africa and Italy where he was twice Wounded in Action - on the first occasion on 18.9.43 and again on 6.12.44. He was awarded the Efficiency Medal in 1946 and passed away in Staffordshire in 1972.
Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with copied research including two newspaper articles wherein he is mentioned - in 1941 and 1943.
