John Roberts Noble was born in Farnley Tyas,, Huddersfield in 1917. He served in the Royal Army Service Corps in WWII with his medals being posted to him at the above address on 23 January 1950.
A Clerk by occupation, he stood for a council seat in his home village in 1954 on the Labour ticket. He passed away suddenly on 29 April 1967 at the age of 49.
