GC to the NHS

Her Majesty The Queen has awarded the George Cross to the NHS of the United Kingdom on its 73rd anniversary 5th July 2021.

Please note that the award is to the organisation and does not confer any rights on members of the NHS past or present to wear the medal, miniature or ribbon with emblem. Neither does it confer the right to use the post-nominal letters GC. We have had a large number of requestes for replicas of teh cross. These can be purchased as keepsakes but MUST NOT be worn, We will alos only engrave these with the details of actual recipients of the award.
