Harry Earl Stone of the 6th Dragoon Guards was born on 14.8.1880 at Littlehampton, Sussex. He enlisted with the Carabiniers in 1897 and saw service in the Anglo Boer War, participating in many of the classic actions in the Western Theatre of the war - that which relieved Kimberley and went on to fight in Johannesburg and Pretoria. He was discharged to the Army Reserve in 1909 and died in Hove in 1940.

Sold with medal rolls and copied service record. All medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated.
