5003 PTE W.HALL. A.& S. HIGHRS: William Hall attested on 29.1.1894 with the 1st Bm. Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders. Served in the Transvaal in the latter stages of the Anglo Boer War, from 18.4.1902, returning to the UK on 26.9.1902. He transferred to the Army Reserve on 24.2.1906
