William Nicholls was born in 1893 in Roche, Cornwall. He served with the 1st Battalion, Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry and was posted to France on 29 May 1915. He was Presumed Dead/Killed in Action on 29 July 1916 and is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold together with copied research. The naming on the Memorial Plaque hasd been polished but is still completely legible. See C1002492 for his brothers casualty medals.
