Newton Rusby was the son of Paul and Mary Rusby of 11 Buck Street, denholme, Bradford. He was killed in action on 11th April 1918 and has no known grave. He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial.
His Commonwealth War Graves entry shows him aged 24 and having formerly served as 3962, Yorkshire Dragoons.
The medal roll shows that he was assumed dead on 19th April 1918 having been posted as missing.
