Memorial Plaque (LEONARD HUCKFIELD)
Leonard Huckfield was born in Oldbury, Worcestershire in January 1896. He saw service with both the 14th and 2nd Battalions of the Worcestershire Regiment in WWI and died of pneumonia in the Liverpool Hospital on 27 December 1918 - two days after Christmas and six weeks after the war had ended on 11 November 1918. His home address was 9 Parsonage Street, Oldbury.
The authorities on occasion confused him with his brother, Arthur, who also served with the Worcestershire Regiment with no. 241556 and who was Killed in Action in France on 21 March 1918.
Plaque is in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Includes some research. Additionally entitled to a British War Medal and Victory Medal which are not included.
