13867 Dvr Charles Alfred Thomas John Cooper "O" Battery, Royal Horse Artillery, was born on 18.11.1876 in Carshalton Surrey. He was an early entrant to the war, disembarking in France on 5.11.1914. If he was eligible for the Mons clasp it wasn't claimed. He was Killed in Action on 16.7.1916
"O" Battery was formed in Ipswich in August 1914. Brigade joined 8th Division in November 1914 and proceeded to France. Placed under orders of V Brigade RHA and remained with that formation when it left the division to become an Army Brigade.
